After kerfuffling around more or less successfully with Hello Pro 3 (I much rather prefer solid widgets over the Gutenberg Blocks, they are way too fickle and a proper documentation of the theme setup including these blocks is desperately needed!), I have found in shock-horror that of the advertised pre-made templates included in Hello Pro 3 (namely, Default, Archives, Categories, Landing, Portfolio and Blog) – I can choose between Default, Landing and Archive.
Now, I don’t care as much about a Categories or Portfolio page but the Blog page template is absolutely essential for me. Without it, I can basically switch the theme altogether and bin this one.
Your advice would be appreciated.
Cheers and toodle-loo,
Thanks for using Hello! Pro 3. We’re sorry you’re experiencing issues.

As for the Page Templates, we have followed the advice of Bill Erickson here:
We recommend users assign their Blog page the WordPress way, using Settings > Reading.
Good luck and thanks for using the Hello! Pro 3 theme!
