I am trying to use a bokeh photo as the background on the pages that are not the home page, and I tried writing background-image: url(http://box5674.temp.domains/~fivseas3/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Background-image.jpg); into the style.css at line 112, after the background color. It did not seem to affect the secondary pages, though. Did I do something incorrectly?
Thank you in advance!
Update …it now does indeed apper, so I guess I did it correctly? I just don’t want to mess up the css. Here’s an additional question. If the Hello Pro 2 theme gets updated, do we need to redo any edits we made on the style css?
We’re glad you were able to get the custom CSS working.
To answer your question —
If you have made changes to the file: style.css, then yes you would need to keep track of those changes, and apply them to the new style.css file. We try not to release too many updates for the theme, for this reason. You can always put your custom CSS changes into the Customizer using the “Additional CSS” field, and when you update your theme, these changes will not be lost.
Thanks again and good luck using our Hello! Pro theme!
