Course Maker Pro can be configured to have an in-page navigation where links in the header move the user down through the sections of the homepage to the content they are seeking. Or, you can use the standard WordPress navigation options to link your navigation items to posts, pages, or lessons.
Making a Menu
Start by making a menu. From the WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Menus and make a new menu. You can name your menu anything you like. Add pages, posts, or lessons by checking the pages in the selection area on the left and clicking “Add to Menu”
Add the Menu to the “Header Right” Widget Area
After saving your menu, go to Appearance > Widgets and add the “Custom Menu” option to the Header Right Widget area.
The In-page Links
Use the “Custom Link” option to create the target links that correspond with each section on the homepage (see screenshot to the right). You can name the menu item anything you like and then add these extentions to your site URL to jump to each section.
The Login Icon
We’ve created a special class for the “login” button to add some extra flare to your header (includes the icon). To use this style, add the word “login” to the class field of your login menu item as shown to the right. If you aren’t seeing this field, scroll all the way to the top of the page and look under “Screen Options” you might need to check the box next to “CSS Classes.”
